TAP WATER UPDATE
Many of you were interested in getting more information
about how you can avoid the Cryptosporidium parasite that is found
in 75% of the nation's drinking water. The only way to really be sure
that you're safe (aside from boiling your water) is to get water that
has been filtered with a size 1 micron filter. Most companies use
a size 5 micron filter, but the parasite can still get through. The
only company I know about that uses the smaller 1 micron filter is
Cedar Canyon Bottled Water out of Forest Grove. They provide home
bottled water service, as well as sell their water at the Plaid Pantry
and 7-Eleven chains. Their phone number is 359-5497.
